Our Story
Fragrance is a silent language written directly onto the memory. Long before a bottle is ever filled or a drop touches the pulse, ascent begins in the earth, in the patience of smoke, and in the quiet conviction that what we wear should carry meaning.
In 2020, amidst the kinetic hum of Dubai, where ancient trade winds meet gleaming modern horizons, Mr.Hussain founded AlHaq Fragrances with a singular, unapologetic purpose -to strip away the synthetic noise and alcohol of mass perfumery, returning to the soul of genuine Middle Eastern scent-making.
The journey for gathering pure & 100% natural ingredients wasn't easy, it started in the dense, rain-soaked forests of Assam. Trekking through the wilderness to track raw agarwood, hand-selected trees rich with the dark & resinous heartwood that only nature and time can create. That pure oud became the heartbeat of the brand; wild, unadulterated, and fiercely authentic.
By the close of 2020, this obsession with raw authenticity came alive in our maiden creation: Oud Al Haq (currently known as Misk Al Hamd). It was an uncompromised blend of rare ingredients personally sourced from across the globe, bottled in an exclusive, numbered run of just 100 pieces. The intention was humble—to share something genuine with true connoisseurs. What followed was unexpected. Within just eight weeks, every single bottle had vanished into private collections. Mr. Hussain found himself facing an artisan’s greatest dilemma: our shelves were empty, the 100 bottles were gone, and patrons across the region were passionately demanding more variations, new profiles, and deeper journeys into scent.
As our sanctuary grew, so did our craft. We listened to our community and ventured deeper into the art of pure oil distillation. By late 2023, that obsession culminated in a defining chapter—the release of our signature attar quartet: Salaah, Rajaah, Falaah, and Najaah. Each bottle captured a distinct virtue, weaving intricate stories of blooming florals, grounding earth, and meditative resins.
Alongside them arrived our most coveted regional extractions: the deep, untamed, soil-rich power of Hind ouds in Oud Al Fadhl and Oud Al Sharaf, countered by the velvety, golden warmth of Cambodian agarwood in Oud Al Tayyeb.
As our journey deepened into 2026, the story expanded with our second landmark quartette:Anees, Ra'ees, Nafees, and Jalees—each formulated to embody companionship, nobility, exquisite refinement, and intimate presence.
Alongside these classical works, we unveiled our most personal chapter yet: the couple collection,Oud Habibi & Oud Habibti. Blended with profound devotion for the beloved, this pairing was born from the belief that true love should not merely be spoken—it should be felt, remembered, and expressed through the timeless art of pure, original fragrance.
